Founded in 1823 the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) is one of Ireland's principal public art galleries, hosting world-class exhibitions of Irish and international artists.  The RHA holds a unique position in Irish culture as the oldest artist-led visual arts institution in the country.

Pleased to showcase "Nachtrag I" (2018-2022) at the 192nd RHA Annual Exhibition as a selected artist. The exhibited prints form a diptych part of the series Absent Machine, developed during an AHRC funded practice-led PhD at the Royal College of Art. In 2022 the RHA saw a total of 4,038 works of art submitted from which, following two rigorous rounds of selection, 378 works were accepted and exhibited throughout all gallery spaces alongside works by RHA Academy Members and Invited Artists.

The RHA Annual exhibition attracts the highest calibre of artists working today, featuring painting, print, sculpture, drawing, photography, mixed media and architectural models. It is Irelands' largest and longest-running open submission exhibition. 

Exhibitors include RHA Academy members, invited artists and 300+ artists.The RHA Annual Exhibition, Ireland’s largest and longest running open submission exhibition of visual art, the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition, returned for its 192nd year. The RHA selected 570 works across the mediums of paint, sculpture, drawing, print, photography and architecture.

The RHA Annual Exhibition also supports the work of the Academy as a registered charity providing a platform for Irish artists for nearly 200 years.
